Elasticsearch is a very powerful distributed, multitenant-capable full-text search engine with an HTTP web interface and schema-free JSON documents. In this video, Charles Buege, Fuel EAC member and Chicago chapter leader, shows you how to go about setting up your own basic Elasticsearch cluster. From here, you can then expand this into your own needs, scale it out across as many nodes as you'd like and start working with this exceptionally versatile open source tool.
Charles Buege is the senior DevOps engineer for Temeda, an Industrial IoT company out of Naperville, Illinois. He currently holds a PCNSA certification and is working towards his PCNSE. He also runs an IT-based Meetup group called “The IT Crowd."
