David Flanders, Security Consultant at Teneo Ltd (a specialist integrator of Next Generation Technology) in Theale, UK, has worked in cybersecurity since 1997, and has been working with Palo Alto Networks technologies for the last three years. David has a slew of certifications: for Palo Alto Networks, he has ACE 4.0, 5.0, and 6.0 as well as CNSE 4.1 and 5.1, and PCNSE 6; he also has certifications from Check Point, Nokia, Juniper, Fortinet, Clearswift, RSA and others. He’s also currently working on the certifications for Arbor Networks. Ramon Hermida, Senior Network Security Analyst for the University of Texas - Pan American, started his first job with an official cybersecurity title in 2005, and has worked in many aspects of cybersecurity since January 2000. He even played a key part in detecting the "Code Red II" worm in 2001 in his company's networks. Ramon has worked with Palo Alto Networks technologies for 3 years, holds a Palo Alto Networks CNSE 4.1, and has held a CISSP certification since 2012. He’s currently working on re-certifying as a CNSE on the current firmware version, and is looking into the CEH (certified ethical hacker) certification as well. Bob Williamson, Network Administrator at Annie Wright Schools in Tacoma, WA, has been working for over twenty years in IT-related positions as a generalist (AD, SQL, Exchange, networking, wireless and security). He’s been using Palo Alto Networks technologies since 2011, and his certifications include MCSE, VMWare VCP5 and Palo Alto Networks CNSE 6. A former skydiver who was one of the first dozen people in Tacoma to get on the internet via a dialup SLIP account, Bob faces some complicated challenges in securing Annie Wright’s network.
