Palo Alto Networks hosts Fuel Members in Canada for four live events

Canada Palo Alto Networks Users: join local Fuel User Group members and chapters for a special series of Palo Alto Networks events, coming to a city near you!
These events will feature Palo Alto Networks Prevention Consulting Engineering Michael Breen, whose presentation and demonstration will outline the tactics, tools, techniques and procedures leveraged by attackers to bypass traditional security controls such as port-based Firewalls, IPS and anti-virus to deliver a successful attack. Through the use of live malware toolkits, a multi-purpose attack will be designed and executed with specific goals defined.

Things have been heating up this month for Fuel's chapters! With several chapter meetings this month around the globe, two new European chapters in the works, and a full calendar for the coming weeks, the Fuel community has been busy connecting in person and sharing insights on how to maximize their Palo Alto Network technology.

August Chapter Recap: Tips for Leveraging the Entire Security Platform

The first week of August was a busy week for the Fuel community, as chapters in Wellington and Minneapolis each invited members to connect in person for local chapter meetings. August 4th marked the first ever meeting for the Wellington chapter, drawing out a small but enthusiastic group of Palo Alto Networks users to talk about pressing issues in their security platform.
Fuel members in Minneapolis came out as well on August 6th for a robust discussion on leveraging the Palo Alto Networks system. Chapter leader and Palo Alto Networks engineer Mike Lutgen gave a presentation called "Leveraging the Entire Security Platform: Top 15 Threat Prevention Tips" that prompted questions and excitement from the Minneapolis crowd. "This had a lot of people asking questions and very engaged," Lugten said. "It was about using the product you already have in a better, more secure way.
