October Chapter Recap: Aperture, Endpoint Protection, and more

Believe it or not, getting offline can be one the best ways to sharpen your technical knowledge and get better at your job. Fuel User Group’s local chapter meetings are hosted regularly around the world with the intent of bringing together the top Palo Alto Networks users to put their heads together to learn, share their experiences and shape the future of cybersecurity.

Fuel members are well on their way to doing just that. Over the past few months, Fuel’s local chapters have grown in number and continue to meet more frequently. In September, the Honolulu Fuel User Group hosted a meeting at the Hawaiian Telecom Headquarters, where over 30 Fuel members met to chat with Palo Alto Networks expert guest speakers and connect with the local community of cybersecurity professionals.

October saw four chapter meetings take place around the globe, with gatherings in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia; and in Wisconsin  and Portland, USA. Palo Alto Networks power users from a diverse array of companies and backgrounds packed the rooms to discuss some of the hottest topics in cybersecurity, including endpoint technology, migration and the recently released Palo Alto Networks Aperture.

The newest Fuel chapter, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Fuel User Group, opened its doors in October, kicking off just in time to make a splash at GITEX Dubai.
