Inside the Fuel Virtual Test Lab

Posted by Fuel HQ on May 12, 2017 9:00:00 AM

It’s time to step inside a virtual playground. One that delivers a hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks virtual products, and the ability to put the capabilities of the Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) to the test, all within a self-led learning environment.

The Fuel Virtual Test Lab 8.0 is an open environment experience designed to help familiarize yourself with all the features of the PAN-OS 8.0 before you purchase or upgrade. With a basic environment setup — access to desktop clients, Linux servers and the Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewall — you are able to simulate scenarios in a sandbox environment.

Feel free to navigate the unstructured environment of the Fuel Virtual Test Lab as you see fit. Put a plan or goal together that will challenge your next-generation security chops. This is your opportunity to test features and understand how to solve any challenges that may arise in advance of a production implementation.

The lab provides the perfect setting to test drive the PAN-OS 8.0 interface and interact with enhanced features at your own direction; practice setting up and running reports, configuring policies and more.

If it’s your first time using the the Palo Alto Networks next-generation security platform or you’re just looking for ideas of what to try within the lab, the Fuel Virtual Test Lab Quick Start Guide will be a great resource that contains ideas on how to get started.

Now that you’ve gotten a taste the benefits of the Fuel Virtual Test Lab, it’s time to dive in!
