Jason Preu, IT Security Manager at Lathrop & Gage LLP in Kansas City, MO, has worked in cybersecurity for 10 years (or 10 long years as he likes to say). A Certified Information Systems Auditor, Jason has worked with Palo Alto Networks technologies for 3 years. Depends on what's going on.

My insulin pump.

Mint Chocolate Chip.

Try to avoid most social media, but I've certainly got a few profiles out there for anyone bored enough to go Googlin'.
What was your first job?
What is your go-to news outlet that you read, watch, and/or listen to for industry news?
Krebs, Dark Reading, Threatpost, ISC.
Trend in cybersecurity that excites you most?
Zero-trust security model.
What’s your “How I saved the day” story?
I once thwarted a Bigfoot that threatened my family whilst we all were engrossed in an episode of Eight is Enough, but that didn't have much to do with cybersecurity. I did save the day cybersecurity-wise by ensuring my employer deployed PAN devices on our network. That was a big win.
Favorite part about being a Fuel member?
Getting the opportunity to crowdsource other Palo Alto Network's customers and drink beer with them.
What do you hope to get out of Fuel?
Knowledge, knowledge, knowledge.
Any predictions for Fuel’s future?
I expect Fuel's growth to trend upwards alongside Palo Alto Network's growth and am excited to be in at the ground level.
